On 23rd February, I spoke at the opposition debate on the need to support businesses and individuals during and after the coronavirus pandemic.
As I set out in my speech, I strongly believe that the best way the Government can help individuals and businesses is by pushing forward with its levelling up agenda, keeping taxes low and encouraging a competitive, innovative economy. This will benefit our environment and economy while ensuring people have access to rewarding, good quality jobs.
