My manifesto (please click link) to Make Doncaster Great Again is based on bringing hope and delivering real change for the great people of Doncaster and its surrounding towns and villages.
We need a new approach, a new start and a new broom. A new approach based on our common values of Faith, Flag and Family.
Please do download it, read it and share with your friends, family, neighbours and your work colleagues.
Doncaster is my home
I was born here, I live here and I work here.
My family all live here too.
So I know we have challenges and importantly, opportunities too.
Our city is in decline. We see it. We feel it. We know it.
Labour has run this city and area for nearly 50 years. Their MPs, councillors and elected Mayor have not only caused it, they refuse to do anything about it. They sit on their hands whilst our money is spent in Sheffield. We see it. We feel it. We know it.
Now is the time for change. There is hope.
A break with the policies that have brought our Doncaster to where it is.
We need truth and honesty once again in Doncaster. Free parking of two hours in all council car parks.
A firm but fair approach to clear the beggars from our streets and pavements.
Opening up Doncaster for businesses to thrive. We cannot afford to let Doncaster suffer another day under Labour.
I have a strong vision and plan. I am asking you for your trust as together I know we can put Doncaster on its feet once again.
We will bring back common values we all share and especially that Yorkshire virtue of common sense. Faith, Flag and Family.
We can Make Doncaster Great Again.
I hope you will give me your vote so we can start this difficult but exciting transition to a better future.
Yours faithfully,
Nick Fletcher
